I started writing about real estate during my first year doing transactions. I kept taking notes of questions that people asked me. Some were similar and some were new. I thought these would be things that everyone would like to know and they did. I started handing out my book to people who came to my open houses. I loved doing open houses. I am a people person. I also wanted people to see that I was not the typical commission breath agent in skinny jeans with no socks and tacky loafers. And even though the purchase or sale of a home is one of the largest transactions in your life and I take it very seriously. But I also find great joy in creating a relationship with my clients and having some fun working through the sales process.
Every year I added new subjects to the book. This year I included all the updates, but I also reference loan re-casting, Crypto buying, and the push for ADU’s. Do you need to know these “new” real estate issues? No. Do you want to know them? Yes.
